Wolqait - Tegede: The Ticking Bomb

It seems that the Woyane/TPLF, has totally forgotten that it is harboring a time bomb under its belt that will explode anytime soon if not later. They thought that by spraying their poison here and there through their cadres and those few that are related to his wife Azeb Golla (Mesfin) and some members of her close family and friends to radically change the cultural and social identity of the Wolqait Tegede people. But instead what they have been doing all along is fermenting pain and grudge amongst those true Ethiopian citizens.

As it is the case in almost all through out Ethiopia, all institutions from top to bottom are under the direct control of TPLF cadres of Tigraian origin. In fact the Tigrians have been heard saying that, " the land and the women" are what they want from Wolqait Tegede. This would also apply to the rest of the lands such as Telemt and Raya. I am not making up a local rumor but rather what my own uncle has witnessed during his recent visit to the area. This by itself is one component of that time ticking bomb. Moreover, this tells us that a silent genocide is taking place as we speak as people especially young men of this area are continuously being harassed and intimidated leading them to a forced displacement. Many people of this region nowadays have called the historic city of Gonder their home. On the other hand, thousands after thousands of Tigrayans are moving in from central Tigray to "Western Tigray" which mainly is the fertile land of Wolqait Tegede. Refer to the map for area of detail where the so called "resettlement" has taken place.

This tells us that the people have clearly rejected the woyane invasion and they are not willing to integrate with the rest of Tigray. In recent times news regarding the situation about this people is rarely hear as it is subdued by the hegemony of one party dictatorial regime. In the aftermath of the May 15 parliamentary elections most of the local and international news has focused mainly on the violence in Addis Ababa and the brutal murder of hundreds of Ethiopians.

With it comes the resentment by certain groups about the Tigraian people. Here, first I would like to remind my readers to disengage themselves from ethnic hatred at all times as it has done nothing to Burundi, Somalia or any other country that has experienced ethnic hatred. Second, do not include the Wolqait Tegede people under the assumption that they are under the fabricated Tigrayan map and they have not voiced their support for the democratic cause and against Woyane.

I assure you that the people of Wolqait Tegede people fully support the struggle for democracy and national unity. Moreover, they firmly oppose the illegal and mercenary woyane regime. It is their belief that one day Ethiopia will set itself from the hands of Woyane, Shabia and the western world and all Ethiopians would once again proudly and fearlessly identify themselves as PROUD ETHIOPIANS!

Dear friend,

I feel your pain and offer my support to you and my Ethiopian brothers and sisters of Wolqait-Tegede region. It is an area I know and love. It is painful to hear the crime that is being committed against these proud, brave Ethiopians. When we get rid of the tribalist TPLF their problems will be addressed too. So, lets all reach out and hold hands and march forward to save mother Ethiopia from the neo banda mercinary TPLF!

"TIME IS BOMB"

Invasion of Welkait-Tegede from Gondar by TPLF.

We the people of welkait-Tegede speaks both Amharic and Tegregna as our language and some who lives at the border of Sudan and Ethiopia speaks arabic. But at the local market, during birthdays, weddings, funeral and other holidays we use Amharic. The federalism system based on language which TPLF used to take our region to Tigray is totaly unacceptable by the welkait-Tegede people and the rest of Begemider people, infact it is distractive to our beloved counrty - Ethiopia. That doesn't not benefit any body including the people of Tigray with whom we lived in peace for centuries. Because Eritreans speake Tigregna, that doesn't make them part of Tigray, because Agaw people use their own language that doesn't make them out of Gojam. You just can not steal land like that with out the will of the people. This is how TPLF has introduced unnecessary hatred. History is always there to reveal the truth.

Altough, the TPLF took our land from Gondar and make it part of Tigray, that doesn't change the fact that one day we will go back to Begemire as time is bomb. Interstingly, most of our Tigrean brothers and EPRDF members knows it very well. Asked about the problem of integrating the Welkait and Tegede (Gondar) zones to the Tigray Regional State, Addisu Legess the dupity Prime minster replied that "patience was needed and that the time would come to correct these errors."

more

We were Ethiopian, we are Ethiopian and we will be Ethiopian forever, we don't need to be librated by TPLF.
we were part of Begemider and will go back to Gondar(Begemedir) by any means.
we were not part of Tigray and we will not be part of Tigray. There is nothing wrong to be Tigrean but the fact is we are not Tigrean because we never been part of Tigray in our history.

Mussolini and Melse Zenawi

Italy Welds A Unit of Africa Colonies Five Regional Governments Set Up Under Central Regime in Addis Ababa.
Natives To Advise Viceroy
Six Chiefs to Serve on Board of Consulters-Religious and Ethical Lines Preserved.
By Arnaldo Cortesi - Written to The New York Times, June 2, 1936.
Rome, June 1- The Cabinet meeting this morning under Premier Benito Mussolini's Chairmanship, approved a law, effective immediately
without waiting for parliamentary sanction, laying down the main lines of organization of Italy's East Africa empire.
The empire is to be administered, at least for the present, as a colony. …
Africa, Colonies Combined
All Italian possessions in East Africa are to be organized into a single unit, to be known as Italian East Africa. The capital will be Addis
Ababa…. Addis Ababa and the territory immediately surrounding it will not be a part of any of the five Governments but will have a status
somewhat similar to that of the District of Columbia in the United States with a special administration of its own with a Governor at its
head.….
Regional Governments.
The five regional Governments will be:
The Government of Eritrea, with its capital at Asmara,
The Government of Amara, with it scapital at Gondar,
The Government of Galla and Sidamo, with its capital at Jimma,
The Government of Harar, with its capital at Harar, and
The Government of Somaliland, with its capital at Mogadiscio,

Who implemented it? WOYANE, the new breed of FASCISTS

The author writes that "...Azeb Golla (Mesfin) and her close family and friends to radically change the cultural and social identity of the Wolqait Tegede people."
The truth is, zero percent of Azeb's relatives support TPLF. In short all Wolkaites including her relatives oppose and fight (including armed struggle) against Woyanes. Her unfortunate presence and a couple of other Wokaites in power is only an exception to the rule. I remind the writer of the piece not to divide us Wolkaites on unfounded assumptions. Other than this, I encourage him/her to keep on exposing Woyane's atrocities.

Go ahead!
Reveal atrocities done by woyanes in the last fourteen years. I remember this issue was raised by one of the free press jornalists in those early days..........but no body was tracking what is going around,we gave our country for wayanes just wait.......and see what will happen next that must be stopped we have to get organized and do something tangible for our country and our nation. we don't have to expect the woyanes to be good they have never been in their histroy.
thanks for those guys(private media) who spent their time in jail for revealing the badness of woyanes

thanks
mike
